The Anglian Glaciation

Contrary to earlier hypotheses that the sediments in north Norfolk might belong to several different glaciations, Steven Pawley et al have, on the basis of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating, concluded that they all belong to the Anglian stage, MIS 12, a cold period around 450,000 years ago.
